Yes. That's what the Washington Post said of the Maryland law.

The conversations taped by Ken Starr and his boys would be legal because Starr had a court authorization. And I believe they were tapes of actual live conversations that took place in a bar at the Pentagon Mall. A sting operation involving Tripp. If I were Lewinsky I'd sue for entrapment.
