Terry,

IMO.......Identix is a few months away from the next generation of Bio-ID products....Optical products....They are cheaper and better and will do everything that everyone ever expected...and more.

Pilot customers may be waiting........and IDX is using other strengths to continue to turn a profit......The R&D money is for this effort.

Money spent on new products is money well spent.

Any answers to my post # 6349?

1. HAAPI means what?
2. Anaylsis of $370,000 Slyvan income? Isn't this a bit much for two locations operating for three months?
2a. Any speculation about the revenue of this line for the next quarter?
3. Why is the Sylvan equity a negative?
4. If the increase in service revenue was due to sales from the GSA schedule, shouldn't the service margin have increased? I mean, where the extra costs in relaying sales to the home office?

5. A speculation: R&D had a big step increase 1st quarter -- the same quarter in which Biometric Tracking was acquired. Biometric Tracking can be considered all R&D at the moment and, therefore, the costs of BT are carried as R&D?

6. Speaking of BT: What's the status of the O'Hare project? No volunteeering of that information by Fowler in the conference report indicates what? Anybody make any calls to BT to find out?
