I have a background in engineering applications in particle beam accelerators. I am very skeptical of any path forward involving a hydrogen based system. I haven't followed new developments in this area as far as H powered vehicles but I think the practicality is not there...especially when you start talking liquid H. Difficult stuff to contain and dangerous. We did ion sources with it. I was in charge of the plumbing and handling on a few projects and that stuff scared me.

A vehicle concept based on natural gas...which we have a lot of and don't need to do a lot to put it in a tank and use it...even in LNG form...seems like a more practical long term path. For awhile in Louisiana and I think Texas you could drive ng fueled vehicles, I believe, and there were refueling stations. I don't know if that is still out there. An electric drive fueled by an NG fuel cell..that would be something!

Thanks for the info. Lots of great things going on.

When cost and reliability of the many new technologies, being proposed, are clarified? I'll be more interested.
