Neil,
We should have a thread for RMI. I guess one will be started sooner or later.
I've been looking for the info about the DECS and I can't seem to find it. Crystal Revak in investor relations of RTI might know. She's alway's been helpful about such things (216-544-7622). Sorry I can't find an answer for that one.
I don't think U.U. Steel is holding down the share price. Whatever is holding down the price of BEAV and other aerospace related
companiies is holding down RTI. I think it's market perception. Many suppliers to the aerospace industry are trading like this.
I like TIMET but they entered into a long term agreement pricing agreement with Boeing and I'm not sure how that will affect the earnings if titanium prices rise. There is so much work out there for the mill products manufacturers that I don't see a problem with that. There isn't that many of them and it's not like one can appear overnight because they have to meet ISO certification standards which is a long process.Oregon Metalurgical was acquired by GE a little while ago and I know they can't handle all of GE's work. There was another order for 59 727's the other day by Southwest Airlines. That's another 118 CFM-56 engines (CFM is a joint venture between Snecma of France and GE) added to the pile which keeps getting larger almost by the day.

As you can see though, business is booming for both of them. I'm just much more familiar with RTI and I like RTI's expansion into other lucrative markets along with the acquasition of Galt Alloys.

By the way Neil, I'm really glad you liked the RTI write-up. Thanks.
I'm taking a break from the disscussion groups for a time because I have alot of catching up to do but we should start a thread on RTI soon.

Best Regards,

Harry

Hi Neil,

RMI's making another move to expand operations.

(I know this is off BEAV topic, we have to start a RMI thread soon)

Best regards,
Harry
