Hello, Slob. How do you think about the possibility of Oak itself being sold to some body? Are there any likely suitors who are interested in Oak's technology and products?

This is a rather sad time for Oak for it seems facing a uncertain future. But let's try to look at the bright side. All future DVD's need to be backward compatible with CD ROM, which means that every DVD has to have both a CD ROM controller and a DVD controller at the same time. Oak has integrated its industry standard CD ROM controller into its DVD controller. In my opinion, if Oak has a competitive product, it stands a decent chance to continue its strong presence in this business. Apparently, this is not what the market believes at this point of time.

Regards,
