I will tell you why and I had not really considered this until someone mentioned it the other day.
For a stock to move up to a more "respected" exchange they must hold a certain price for a certain amount of time.
MMs down here in BB land manipulate the hell out of these stocks -- everyday. In this case, they know there is selling pressure, so they accumulate, raise the price a bit, sell, and buy back whenever the money seems worthwhile. They know the shares will keep coming. They know the buyback is coming, but it is not going to happen all at once.
Back to share price. It is not in the interest of these MMs to have a stock leave the BB. The rules are a lot tighter up in Nasdaq, AMEX and NYSE land. They cannot accumulate shares like they do down here -- they MUST sell to the public first. These MMs lose another potential cash cow every time one of their stocks moves up.
There are a whole bunch of other ideas on the subject that I do not have time to get into, but it seems that very few companies -- even good ones that are really undervalued -- ever make it up to the bigger exchanges. It seems to take a lot to overcome the BB.
There have to be many reasons for this -- I presented some possibilities. I think with the dividend, the large share buyback and the continued support of long-term shareholders this one will make it and do very well, but it will not be a smooth ride IMO.

When Joe tacitly announced $5 to be his near-term target price, I finally got a real sense of where he wanted to take us. It became more tangible, so to speak. THAT was when I began unloading other stock to add to my position. Wave III is the key and will establish a price trend, IMO. Clearly, we are drawing more attention, as there have been quite a few new posters of late. I suspect that a considerable part of that group are short-termers, which of course will create a crosswind as we strive to climb out of the near-2 range.

If Wave III does indeed "surprise" us, then the short-term interest won't have much of an effect on our momentum. However, if there isn't a dramatic jump in price, then we should anticipate a less-than-smooth rise through 3 and above. Again, IMO.

Good weekend to all. Or at least try. gggg
