Rhodes Schoarlships are for study at Oxford, not in Russia.

It does remain true, however, the Al Capone was not a Rhodes Scholar.

I do not recall saying anything about whether Clinton was or was not responsible for the Reagan boom.

Since Clinton has been in office for six years, though, he has to be allowed some credit for not doing any damage.

I can't help noticing your difficulty in finding any way of comparing Clinton with Al Capone.

Capone was never elected governor of a state or President of the United States. Or perhaps you wish to dispute that also?

To some degree the forces behind the effort to discredit Clinton are the same as those that hounded Nelson Rockfeller out of national politics within the Republican Party.

With all the problems that the United States has to think about, it seems something of a waste of time to focus with obessive attention on the present issue. Mostly I think that it is pretended moral indignation by people who have the mentality of an old maid school teacher with severe sexual hangups.

This is the last time I will say anything about this on this thread.

The very fact that I allow myself to be drawn into such a silly exchange is evidence of the danger to the world economy of this kind of distraction.

I haven't seen much about Korea lately here. To get back on topic, is the bouyant stock market there evidence of real promise in straightening out the problems in that country, at least? I notice it is up several percentage points again in weekend trading.
