Attorney William Ginsburg, who represents Monica Lewinsky, says she
is standing by a sworn affidavit that she did not not have a sexual
relationship with President Clinton. The affidavit was sworn and signed
January 7th and submitted to lawyers handling Paula Jones' sexual
harassment suit against Clinton.

The Lewinsky affidavit contradicts secretly obtained tape recordings
of the former White House intern in which she claims to have had sexual
relations with Clinton.

At his daily briefing, White House press secretary Mike McCurry
scoffed at a question on whether President Clinton would resign over
allegations that he had an affair with Lewinsky. In various interviews,
Clinton has denied the accusations.
