I just eat whatever and some metformin. Lol cut sugar out though, I don’t eat much meat, eat a lot of fish including salmon. Sardines in cans. I prefer salmon just got really tired of it. Get all other kind of fish from the local store. Tilapia, halibut. These are delicious when cooked right. I just add some salt and pepper and bake the fish. Normally veggies as a side. Canned sardines go well with potatoes and pickles. Not on a special diet, just cut out sweets and junk.

I am 5'9" 152.2 lbs as of this morning. I jog an hour every morning with my dog before the market open. I work out aerobically with free weights every other day. I eat 2 tablespoons of raw flaxseed ( great for the hormones) and 6 tablespoons of wheat germ ( Bob's Red Mill). I munch on Raw roasted non salted cashews during the day. I eat lots of spinach, kale, broccoli and carrots. I eat lots of roasted shredded chicken and fish. I eat organic lentils. I walk my dog a couple of miles a day outside of jogging for an hour at 5am PST.
Once a week, I will eat a sweet potato stuffed with broccoli and roasted shredded chicken ( no skin).

I do smoke pot ( couple of tokes in the morning on market days ) but gave up cigarettes over 40 years ago.

I am hungry most of the day.

I eat the sweet potato because it is very healthy, but sort of a no no in diabetic land. I also eat 2 light yoplait yougurts per day.

It is all a mindset. Health comes first.

Gave up pizza and all southern Italian. I use to eat burgers and hot dogs with cheddar cheese, but they are bad for the heart. No cheese either outside of cheese popcorn.
