If Bill has to resign, rest assured it will not be because of the affair, IMO, but rather would occur because evidence was produced showing he lied under oath, and/or obstructed justice. Indeed, such would be a poor example to the nation. Agree? re his actions do not threaten our personal liberties as the puritans might. I don't follow. Who has suggested such a thing, besides you? Believe it or not, people of all beliefs can be very forgiving for misdeeds. What makes people upset is when people cover-up, lie, obstruct justice, "deny deny deny", etc., particularly if facts are revealed showing they did indeed lie. I would refer you to former President Nixon, and what happened to his presidency after proof came out (after he denied it) that he had indeed bugged the Democratic convention. Or perhaps, as you seem to "fear the rightous, rightwing puritans*, perhaps you see nothing wrong with Nixon's bugging of the Democratic convention, and then saying publically "I am not a crook"? (lying). Fortunately, most Americans still have a sense of what is right and wrong. DK

What about the boss/employee aspect of this thing ? Everyone talks about how if they consented it is ok. Also, what about the betrayal aspect. If true, he seems to have betrayed his wife and child. Or do you think Hillary and Chelsea are ok with this thing ? It wouldn't surprise me. But if so, what a comment on the morals of our nation. WS

Just how do you expect "rightwing puritans" to threaten you personal liberties? The only "liberty I can think of that the want to get rid of is your right to kill unborn children. What about your right to walk the streets alone or let your kids play in the front yard? What about your right to support your own family instead of nonworking families, drug addicts etc etc? What about your right to defend yourself? What about your right to speak your mind on the internet? What about your right to choose (and pay for) your own doctor? The Dem's are the ones who treat criminals better than law-abiding citizens and try to limit almost every aspect of your life and keep you so dependent on the government that they have control and power over you forever. You've fallen into their trap.
