More zerosense click bait.....

It is not even close to a competitor to the Cyber truck. Show me where you can fit passengers in the rear seat plus carry half a dozen sheets of plywood? I believe both the extended cab Ford F150 and the Cybertruck do both. The spare tire makes rear access a problem and it is not great for aerodynamics thus battery life.

Popular here in front of one home that replaced their Confederate flags with "Don't Tread on Me" banners is a "badass" Jeep all in black with huge tires. The eHummer looks to be competition for that demographic... but my guess is few have the sort of resources to pay for it.

From what I've read, Tesla is killing the German performance market with people like me that prefer to buy "Made in the US" vehicles with performance. I bought my twin turbo, 300 HP BMW X3 to replace my Corvette because it IS made in the US and has great performance and can carry "Mama" in the back seat. Now you can get better performance for the same price AND stickers that allow you to drive in the HOV commuter lanes in the Bay Area so people who can afford $50K to $80K for a performance car will buy the higher priced Model 3 and Model X Teslas. I've read it has crushed the used market for BMW and Mercedes too.

I still won't buy or recommend a stock with a market cap of about $1M for every car it has sold (heard on CNBC... have not verified) so far, but it does make good, popular products.
