Still, the end result was that the dog had a couple of good days and we found a suitable home for it. I wasn't going to let him go back to his old life. If I had not intervened, it was less likely to find a suitable owner for the dog. So I am fine with how it turned out.
None of this makes any sense.

You had 2 days with the dog and within another day found another "suitable" home for the dog.

How da hell could you possibly determine in 2 days what home is suitable for this dog and how da hell could you assess this new home / owner in 1 day?

Call me once again judgemental but this whole story strikes me as total BS. Nothing adds up.
