<Infidelity to one's spouse has nothing whatsoever to do with one's ability to do a job>

I actually strongly disagree, but I'm pretty sure I'm in a very small minority. :o) pete

Please go back and read the post (#384) that I was responding to. It was a general statement on marital fidelity, not about Clinton.

That said, I do have to say that even if what you say is right, it doesn't make infidelity okay, and I really wish we could expect more of our leaders. I certainly expect more of my husband!!!!

Re:. Infidelity to one's spouse has nothing whatsoever to do with one's ability to do a job,

Infidelity in and of itself no. However, when you add lying to your constituency and obstructing justice by coercing people to prevaricate, then yes, your job as President is impacted by said infidelity.

Another point. His "people" are claiming that Lewinsky has no credibility. Excuse me???? This coming from an administration which has spent more time in court that all others combined. We knew he lied in '92 with JF, why should we believe him now? Kick the bum out.

BTW, I am entirely amazed at how many women overlook his sexual escapades.
