At present time, they result in a scan list that you can look at in QP2.0 or output to metastock, wow, SC, etc for a look there. you can change perameters of the "canned" indicators for plots in QP, but you can not develop custom formulas.

Remember that QP is first a data source of End of day data over 12,000 symbols. It has a very good minimal charting program and a very good scanning ability. This might be all a person would want.

As I understand it - for a good price you get all the fundamental/technical scans you can dream up( ala our lady dream weaver and accomplices) and a good data source- the charts require big bucks like Metastock- or you can use TC2000 and get more charting and less scanning.but still not a candlestick to MS or WOW.

As far as Mike goes - he is not speaking and neither is the house. However let's just say he shares his bounty with the dealer.

As Richard and Andy said, you can't plot all the formulas. You would think that you could -- after all, a good plot needs a beginning and an end, a love story, good characters, character development, etc., and within each one of our scans you'll find all of these things. But you'll have to rely on another program for custom indicators, at least for now. The scans provide an excellent means for filtering stocks, though. One day, an analyst will happen upon the Holy Grail of scans -- one is searching deep within the Black Forest at this very moment -- and all charts will be rendered obsolete. Until that day, we'll have to use Metastock, Wow, Advanced Get, SuperCharts or graph paper.
