Mike, there is a difference in the lawsuits between S3 and WDC...

---
Nov. 3, 1997, S3 Inc. (SIII) said it expects to restate downward its net income and revenues for "prior quarters"
because of "material errors in the timing of its recognition of sales to several international distributors" it has found.

The company said it expects to revise net income downward by a total of $0.14 to $0.29 per share, and to revise
revenues downward by an aggregate $40,000,000 to $70,000,000.
---

I don't believe WDC has announced anything like the above. Steve said he would not invest in a company (S3) that cheats and lies to its shareholders. I'd have to agree with him on that one.
