And this is where people like Kate and i-node part with you.They only see the bureaucracy as an inefficient entity... I'm not sure that's the distinction. I find the bureaucracy pretty inefficient, etc., too, and I think that much of what it does shouldn't be done at the federal level of government if at all. I suspect that the difference is their view of the people in it. They think that bureaucrats are political hacks. Which could not be much further from the truth.
