Wasn't addressing any particular post-just an attitude about our favorites and a our amazing ability to overlook flaws that are historic. Take Newt for example, close your eyes (don't worry you will still have the same taste in your mouth when this is over) and imagine him a liberal democrat out to spend other people's money to prove he is a nice guy. Is would be very easy to paint him as a victum of a older woman in a position of authority over him. Child abuse at the very least. Of course you would have to overlook the value of teachers that screw their students.
