In order to clear it up...and to get to the bottom of withholding aid we need to get Joe and Hunter under oath as witnesses.

Don't you agree? I mean withholding aid as bragged about by Joe Biden in the video... is a serious matter...right? He also implies Obama knew by telling them to call Obama if they didn't believe aid would be withheld.

Very interesting...and we actually have it all on video.

<<I never denied that Biden pushed to get him fired.>>

You can't obfuscate by saying "pushed". The video shows a step-by-step process was undertaken to get that prosecutor fired. The methods Biden used were the same methods Trump is accused of doing.

It doesn't matter why Biden wanted him fired or that others also wanted him fired. What's material is the methods used. Biden withheld promised aid just as Trump did. But unlike Trump, Biden directly linked it to his request. It was clearly stated by Biden that to actually get the aid, an action had to be taken, i.e. Ukraine had to fire a government prosecutor. Quid pro quo....open and inarguable.

The assertion by the right that this was done to protect Hunter is also immaterial to the impeachment case. Hunter isn't the Biden whose testimony is particularly material to the case. It's Joe Biden's testimony, imo, that is more germain, and I think the video itself should be carefully explored for the differences in language between it and the phone transcript. Biden made an unmistakable demand. The tone was bullying and everything about it met the definition of abuse of power. The phone call was a request that seemed to be something of an afterthought. The statement of request ends with the words, "if possible"--two words the media always leaves off. Trump is saying 'if it's possible, I would appreciate you looking into the Hunter Biden appointment and the possibility that the previous Ukrainian government did things to undermine my election'. There's no demand in this kind of wording and no threats are stated--completely different from the Biden language.
