Yeah, that is why the SF 49ers moved TWO counties away.... San Mateo is between SF and Santa Clara where the 49ers play at Levi's...
The good news is the tickets are worth at least twice what he paid...possibly MUCH more (i.e. $15,375) depending on where they are.

LOTS of rich folks running tech companies where they built Levi's stadium. Ticket prices went up and priced many die hards out of the market but when the team is good, they fill the stadium with selfie takers and true fans.

People like me... I hate the crowds and they ruined the games for live watching for me with all the time added for commercials to pay the bills... so I spool the games up on the DVR and watch a bit tape delayed while I can do chores or other things during the games.
