strikes me as strange that he never signs his papers or emails, doesn't have his license and degree on display, and even his name is not advertised anywhere in his office (no business cards with his name on it).

That is very odd. I will warn my son about this.

Do the best you can to cost the vet as much as you can.

They have to learn.

I had the same issue years ago with a spayed pup. I saw the stitches opening and I got her back for a re-stitch before any consequences. She was also stitched internally so the exterior breaking was not life threatening in short order.

My GSD Roxanne had torsion and it was caught immediately. Rushed to surgery. $4000.00 and three days in care and they said her BP was low. They still discharged her.. I never thought the BP issue was a leak.I thought it was the meds. She died 45 minutes after I got her home. The vet had to know and he just didn't want to reopen and deal with the leak.

In 55 years of raising dogs, I think the most dangerous thing you can expose a dog to is a vet. If you find a good one, they are rare.

In 55 years I've never had a dog with fleas, worms, skin issues etc. I never vaccinate or get them shots of any kind. They have lived between 14 and 18 years and eat only Iams Lamb and Rice with table foods for flavoring. I keep them/family/friends free of ticks with Rose Germanium and treating fabrics with Permethrin.

Hi Sun Tzu

Carolyn directed me to your heartbreaking situation. I am not a lawyer but I do have experience in Health Law. I would suggest a lawyer in the field of personal injury. In my experience for medical malpractice when patients were suing physicians or healthcare workers for Tort litigation the firm that came up the most was Torkin Manes LLP.
