Hi Barry, interesting post and well spoken. Unfortunately I have to disagree. The Clinton administration has been an embarrassment to every American. One scandel after the other and now this one. It's sadly pathetic to me that with a country so full of wonderfully talented people, we elected someone like him.

I real leader recognizes the ramifications of his actions and for the greater good curbs behavior which would be perceived wrong. Folks in the military have lost their career over alot less than this. Should the Commander in Chief be any different? (of course provided it turns out to be true)

I think some good may come of all this though. Maybe we will actually pass term limits. Without term limits, real campaign finance reform is just wishful thinking.

I agree though the media feeding frenzy is already grading on me. I fear OJ was just a small prelude to what we're in store for.

I'm quite worried about the markets through all of this. Intel and the other great companies which Ibexx has mentioned should hold up reasonably well here, but the small guys could be in jeapordy.

I pulled out of a couple of small trading stocks just in case. Lost a little but not too bad. USSB, looked stuck anyway.

Take Care, Michael

RE:
I don't know that I'd go so far as to say that the relationship between Bill and Hillary is "strictly business", however. Clearly, Hillary must be all too aware of Bill's "fooling around", and given that this has been going on for two decades (Jennifer Flowers says
it was 12 years that ended before 1992), the two of them must have an "arrangement" of some sort that keeps them both married and out of physical warfare.

What about his daughter? Do you think he has a business relationship with her also. Don't think for one minute this is fair to her. I want to see him go on national TV and discuss "family values" tomorrow night. Remember, in his wedding vows, he promised his wife and God to love, honor, and obey. If he lied to his wife and God, what do you think he'll do to anyone else?

Anyone who thinks this has nothing to do with the presidency and is just consenting sex between two adults needs to reevaluate his/her own moral standards.

Steve

Barry, there is no question ( personal issues aside ) that Clinton has been a real good President for this economy and especially, the US stockmarket. Cutting the deficit, pushing NAFTA forward and the IMF bailouts, this administration has maintained good economic growth with almost no inflation. The rest of the World couldn't care less who or what he has sex with. Their laughing at the SUPERFICIAL MORAL MAJORITY USA and saying GROW UP and get some real values!
