off topic? Does anyone here use the new browser, and are they satisfied (Vs 3.0)?

I have 3.0. I am satisfied, but am being encouraged to upgrade.

Are there any surprises I should look out for as a consequence
of downloading? example: loss of bookmarks. loss of my 3.0
(in case my wife insists I change it back the way it was!)

Feedback from anyone who has done it and remembers problems,
or a great beneficial difference will be appreciated!

As for the browser war, though this appears to be a
bold new move, are there reasons to believe the move
was forced by an outside circumstance? Is Netscape throwing
out a sacrificial lamb as part of a bold new plan, or
straining to make the best out of what is left?
I am asking this because "numero two-o" (Microsoft)
with its Internet Explorer is no dummy and has all
the backing it needs. (Microsoft Words spell-checker
does not even recognise or correct spelling of the word "Netscape".
Check it out. There is some animosity here.)

Though unrelated, a parallel may be found in Apple's past
as it worked through the principle of lower cost and catered to
the educational sector in its war with IBM.
