">> Secondly, channel checks. They get stockholders in the swing of things and make them feel as if they are doing something important and contributing to the stocks performance. Maybe indirectly from the hype, but I believe they are Bogus at best. What is a better method is to obtain hard research reports from independent sources like the Gamer magazines and analysts, not stockholders.">> These statements are all wet. I really don't think the shareholders that are doing channel checks believe they are "contributing" to the stock's perfomance. Are you saying that if we check more stores, we think that we may be able to drive up the price? I am all for that. In fact, I am going out to all the Best Buys, CompUsa/ToysRUs/Funcolands/Targets and EB's and report by tomorrow. Hopefully, I can get this baby up to $25 by Tuesday morning. (g) I don't believe anyone doing store checks believes that they can contribute to the stocks perfomance. The audits have told us within days the NWO, Nitro, and World have become hits. It is precisely this type of information that can give the small guy a leg up on the pros. What is important is that there is a lot of shared information. Unless, you know and trust the poster, I would take the audits with a grain of salt. Let's take SnapperLee for example, he was trying to tell us that NWO was not selling. <<" What is a better method is to obtain hard research reports from independent sources like the Gamer magazines and analysts, not stockholders.">> Boy, I hope you don't believe that the analysts have all the answers. I am sure glad that I was not on the analyst bandwagon with Oxford, Brex, Rainforest etc. etc. In todays world, the little guy can glean MORE than the analysts if they do the leg work. I believe this is much more true with smaller companies like THQ, that have a tangible product.
