We need to look at the "context". We need to reorder our entire society to reflect modern social science and modern realities like "robotization" and trade displacing jobs.

And we need to reorganize it according to modern social theory on how to effect a happy and healthy society and that is what progressives are wanting to do.

I have a masters degree from the U of Washington in public administration and designed modern social programs in Alaska for 20 years.

What Bernie is proposing is nothing more than modern social science to effect a more humanitarian society in conjunction with present day realities.

You need to look at the context of his statement about the biggest transfer of wealth. He is not talking about from rich to poor: He is talking about from workers to retirees. He is correct. His concern is that it will become unworkable unless something is done. Again, he is correct.
