Zeev, Yeow! I'm shocked reading this article! If true, I ask- are the French just living in a meaningless existential haze? Do you remember the Sudanese Diplomat who defected about three months ago and made public the fact that Mahathir Mohammad's Malaysian Government had secretly been shipping illegal weaponry into the Sudan to the National Islamic Front Government inside oilfield equipment shipments of Petronas?

Well, Total a French Oil Company is in that same oil concession with Petronas in the southern Sudan. I wonder if the french Government had some involvement in the murder/mass rapes/torture/slave trade of the African Christians in the southern Sudan too?

Well, Ill hopefully have the opportunity to speak with SPLA representatives soon on some issues. I'll ask them about the Rwandan accusations. As you are aware the current Rwandan Government is on very good terms with the SPLA and not at all happy with what the Arab Muslim Fundamentalists have also been doing to the Africans in the southern Sudan. So I would assume that there is some commuication there in both directions....

Sincerely,

Doug F.
