Wharfie, I blame you for complaining about the potential threat to your wife from crazy street people, but having no plan to improve the situation. WTF am I supposed to do, Mr. Divorcee? The homeless problem is a HUGE deal in California. People complain constantly, but the politicians do nothing but talk. We already pay the highest taxes in America, so why can't we have more mental health programs and drug rehabilitation? Heck, we even passed a 1% tax on millionaires with the funds specifically earmarked toward mental health treatment. We can't build our way out of the housing crisis because it takes 10 fuckin' years just to overcome all the regulatory hurdles and the legal challenges from the NIMBY crowd. Even Gov. Newsom is trying to force local cities to build more houses, but he's getting pushback. I see libtards all around California blaming Ronald Reagan for closing the mental hospitals, but that was FORTY-FIVE YEARS AGO. You mean to tell me that Gov. Brown and Gov. Newsom can't reopen them? We even have a budget surplus this year. Why can't we spend a bit of that budget on new mental health treatment centers? And you think I don't have the right to complain about my wife getting threatened by these assholes? Go fuck yourself. I blame YOU for blocking real solutions to these problems. I blame YOU for supporting these libtard politicians who do nothing. I blame YOU for being so snarky and so callous in your attitude and dismissing the homeless problem like its no big deal, or like it's someone else's problem. Like it or not, this homeless situation reflects poorly on the state. And all assholes like you can say is, "Oh we care about these people." The only way you "care" is to not enforce the fuckin' law against them. The only way you "care" is to force law-abiding citizens like my wife to have to tolerate these people. And it's not just in California. Oregon, Washington, and New York all have these same problems. And I hear it all the time. "Nothing is done." "Nothing is done." "Nothing is done."
