Poor Germans,

Environmentalist protecting a plantation style pine forest. Planted to be thinned and harvested for the pulp (paper) and dimensional lumber products the owner of the land intended it to provide.

Along comes Elon who wants to not only clear cut a portion of the 1300 acres for a plant, but also buy the land.

What do you think the owners of the surrounding lands thought about that. Tesla's plant would surely attract other investments of nearby property.

Take a good look at environmentalism! It is do not progress! We want a lesser lifestyle - just don't dare to progress!

If there is a more stark contrast to Germany's insane hold on progress, due to environmentalism (and the "PROVEN CLIMATE SCIENCE" it claims, along with their now three times higher electricity costs than the US.

Germany makes us look brilliant. They had to cheat on diesel emissions to get a car that could be sold in our clean country.

Their efforts to reduce their carbon footprint are a complete bust, as they over spend on renewables and underspend on natural gas (which is at all time low costs).

The only country that reduced their carbon footprint last year was the US, as we closed more coal electrical generation plants and replaced them with natural gas. We are one of the few countries that did NOT join the Paris climate agreement.

All of the other countries who committed to reducing their carbon footprint, did not, yet the US DID!

Something wrong with their "PROVEN "science?

They refuse to ditch their filthy old coal plants as they dump trillions into their renewable plans ( which gives bureaucrats the power to rebate to their friends and charge those not so friendly).

Sounds like political corruption to me!

I'm not a fan of Elon and his governmentally sponsored rebates that help the wealthy buy luxury cars, but I do think he's finally found out how environmentalism can thwart business development.

Elon's been a master of being connected.

I love seeing him have to do business like the rest of the world's industry has had to for decades.

What Elon and Germany can not do, due to Merkel's timidity, the US is now doing, due to Trump's elimination of regulations.

Choke on that clear cut Elon - it's your turn!

Not that I want to help Tesla, but it is a proven fact that a land after having been clear cut, develops greater species diversity than if you left as the woods.

Guess who's winning NOW!

Bob
