Rich folks probably buy or lease so they can drive in the HOV lanes and screw those who actually paid for them to relieve traffic, not reward rich folks for voting for democrats. dmv.ca.gov ww2.arb.ca.gov Time is valuable plus you can announce to the World that you are green and doing your part to help... even if not really true, especially if you don't drive much like me where an ICE is probably more environmentally friendly for the 2,000 miles a year I put on my BMW.
