Zeev, Agreed- Official government-sanctioned murder under any banner is Fascism- purely and simply. The English simply turned their back on the old colonial empire and do not look to see what going on- the Belgians poke their head in now and then, but nothing significant. The Dutch show no interest- I will credit the Portugeuse for fighting for justice foir their old colony of East Timor which was occupied illegally by Indonesia in 1974 and much torture and murder occurs sanctioned by the Indonesian Government.

But I'm surprised about the French if these reports are true....

In all honesty I have never discussed Rwanda with East African Officials except for the fact that the Rwandan government supports the theory of self-determination for the Africans in the southern Sudan.... But I will ask...

Sincerely,

Doug F.

Zeev: How are your turnips in predicting the near term direction of long term interest rates? I am in the middle of refinancing my mortgage, haven't locked in a rate yet, and was unhappy to see long-term rates go up last week.

Any ideas of where long term rates are headed in the next few weeks?

Zeev,
I recall from the IPMCF days that you were one of the few voices of sanity. I am hoping to get your opinion on the Asian markets. I noticed your posts over at the Asian Forum thread and at the time you were expecting another cycle down in those markets. My opinion is that another cycle down will make several of those countries 'unfit for human habitation'. This occurrance would surely cause many long term financial problems and most importantly a general default on the loans from the Big money. These financial powers would invariably prefer to keep the Asian markets alive so that they can continue to receive their stream of loan payments.
I believe that the wheels are in motion to prevent a further devastating decline in Asia. Several of the markets are breaking their down trends and others look to be about to.
Could you provide a quick analysis from a TA prospective on some of these Asian markets? If you could please respond over on the Asian Forum thread.

Many Thanks

Derrick
