So its not the boondoggle for the well heeled that it once was any longer? Maybe I'm overstating it a bit but for awhile there folks were buying properties on the Florida coast immediately after major disasters w/o much of a care because of this cheap taxpayer funded insurance program. So, from what you are saying, regs are tighter and premiums are higher? That sounds like progress. I am really horror struck at how much support crazy Bernie seems to have. It saddens me to think our electorate in any significant numbers are willing to run after this bullshit artist with nothing much more than resentment and babbling notions about equality to offer. But, taking an honest look at the Federal budget, there's lots of fat oxes that should be gored. I have considerable experience in the defense sector and know a fair bit about the ag business. Let me just say that an honest approach to "quit handing out freebies and knock down a bloated budget" could save a few hundreds of billions in those two areas. Anyway, nuff said.
