Last year my Vitamin D was 14.5, in Canada, I had real bad bone pain, after a bone scan and tests my doc put me on 2000 IU of Vitamin D and in 3 weeks no more pain. Few months went by and Vitamin D blood levels were normal. You don't need that much to restore your levels to normal.

I'm out in the Florida sun consistently but not for very long periods.. Maybe 60-90 minutes about 4-5 times a week.. Seems I might already be getting enough? Also I read people who are indoors all the time even in FL that don't take D3 supplement are deficient and thus the ones most at risk of skin cancer if they get too much midday exposure once in a while?
