I haven't been following the news today, so I don't know if the San Diego Union's little contribution has gotten much airplay. They ran a story today linking Clinton sexually with M. Larry Lawrence's widow, Shelia Davis Lawrence. (A very attractive 36 year old woman, BTW - Larry Lawrence was some 40 years her senior.) Apparently, Paula Jones' attorney is seeking testimony from her. Larry Lawrence is the guy they had to dig up from Arlington National Cemetary, because he fibbed about his military service. Clinton often stayed with the Lawrence's when in San Diego. According to the story, his advisors talked him out of staying there when he visited after Lawrence died, and on that occasion he stayed at the Hotel Del Coronado. (Once owned by Lawrence.) The Union has some kind of agenda against Lawrence, and has muckraked unmercifully. The last story I remember about Lawrence was one discrediting much of the folklore surrounding the Del, saying that Lawrence made much of it up - including the Del's most famous story, that the Duke of Windsor met Mrs. Simpson there. This was AFTER Lawrence was dug-up - that wasn't enough! ;)
