I thought it was patriotic to NOT go to war in Viet Nam, Bill. You have hit on a MAJOR dividing line between two groups of baby-boomers, each side believing they were acting in the best interests of their country.

I am not sure what Clinton said in Russia, but many anti-war protesters embraced any country which was against the war. You know, the enemy of my enemy is my friend kind of deal.

I was mostly very sad that young Americans were being butchered over there, and did not believe in the domino theory of nations being taken over by Communism, so it seemed very divisive and wasteful. And it was a civil war for the Vietnamese, wasn't it?
