Look, if it wasn't Starr it would be some other warm body. Somebody has to actually be in charge of some work, right? Janet Reno has sworn to uphold the duties of her office.....and if it was leaked that she had evidence (contradictory things indicating lying under oath), but hadn't done anything about it, her job would be GONE in a heartbeat...and you can bet the Clinton administration would blame it ALL on HER...she had zero choice in the matter. DK Not to mention Reno's successor would have had her ending up warming a different bench at the govt expense...only her "co-workers" wouldn't be wearing nice clothes.
