Hi John! Thanks for your confirmation on the co-existance of Pt and Au in South Africa. I find it interesting to note that my research and your numbers indicate that the gold that does exist with the pt is considered a by product of the PT.

Rumors about the numbers of PT at Franklin Lake seem to indicate that the PT numbers are much higher then the gold numbers. This is a rumor, I must stress, as no certified numbers for PT have been released.

Can you or any threaders clue us in on two things.

(1) Why do people in this country (usa) say the two can not exist together if it is well documented that they co-exist in South Africa?

(2) what conditions are need for PT to be present in an area?
