from a wsj article: "That leaves us with the very real possibility of a criminal perjury charge against the president, not to mention many counts of stupidity," said Barbara Nicastro, who once headed the Justice Department unit in charge of setting guidelines for pursuing perjury charges in civil cases such as the Jones suit." this was in reponse to: "Mr. Ginsburg said Ms. Lewinsky was prepared to testify truthfully and thoroughly: "We will not go south like Susan McDougal and refuse to talk nor will we have any lapses of memory like Webb Hubbell. If my client is granted immunity we will tell the truth and nothing but the truth to the office of the independent council." Ms. McDougal has been imprisoned since Sept. 9, 1996 for refusing to testify before the Whitewater grand jury."
