Fair enough, but I expect people to know what I post are simply my opinions. Just like the opinions everyone else posts.

Even if I say progressives think----- this or that. Then challenge me on whatever I said progressives think.

I think a remedy would be for people who disagree with me to challenge me specifically on an issue. That way it can be discussed specifically. With vague generalities, people often disagree based on their subjective understanding.

In that particular post, I'm not disputing that you know some of the views of some segments of the "progressive" community. And as such I find those views interesting. But when you use the terms "progressives think/view" then you undermine your own argument. We all watch a variety of programs, listen to a variety of podcasts, read a variety of newspapers, many of which either are progressive or carry progressive views. And, at least in my case, I find many if not most of those views much more nuanced than you present them.
