I'm sure glad I let my instinct and charts keep me out of XOM, XLE and any energy related stock. Yesterday CA gov. Newsom outlawed new gasoline car sales in CA starting in 2035. The new business might be buying gasoline engine cars in Texas or Nevada, driving them until they become "used" then selling them in California unless battery technology solves the range and charging problem. Message 32591117 WTC crude is $39 and change... less than half your $80 price for the sector to be in good shape. (good call there to be out!) FWIW, the chart with reinvested dividends targets zero. This raw price chart hit the target in March and seems to be on the way to a decent test....
