I have an assignment if you wish to accept it: Get a hold of DIMD and ask them their plans for a single chip pnp PC firmware card cable modem. Tell them you will be reporting your findings to the DIMD SI thread. If they don't respond or don't wish to respond, or don't adequately cooperate in any way, tell us.
