According to one of the big 3 newscasts this a.m., Clinton is admitting to his friends that he had an "emotional" relationship with Monica. And if you think about it for just a second, having your knob polished can really stir the emotions!

Possible translations:

I told her to lie MULTIPLE times

I didn't tell her to lie, I told her to deny.

I didn't tell anyone, I told EVERYONE.
