Baoho, How big do you think DVD will be? My estimates have consumer DVD players at under 10M units in year 2000. DVD ROM's will take off much quicker (over 50M units in 2000) but this will be a bloody market place, because there are so many big companies with DVD controllers and so much price pressure to supply this for under $100. As for "patents" it's the engs. with the patents that you want. They know exactly what is covered and how to get around it. Slob
