Someone posted something by a guy who used it once a week during his time in Vietnam to prevent malaria. Said his only side affect was some diarrhea, Been around for 100 years so it's about as safe as it can be as I understand it.

Wouldn't it be something if the cure for the common cold has been staring at us from the shelf for 100 years?

chloroquine is one nasty drug. It will give you the shits, make you feel like shit, nightmares etc. It is an anti malarial drug. I wouldn't take it unless I was infected with covid-19. Would be good to have 10 day supply on hand in case of infection.

A craving for G&Ts?

I use Jack Rudy bitters, which are fantastic.

Quinine is actually used to treat chloroquine resistant malaria.

I have a good supply of the bitters on hand, a summer must, a staple, but I’m sure it will now be hoarded.

I know where to get cinchona bark, going for some right now.

Chloroquine.......It was the drug of choice back in the 60s-90s for malaria. I had malaria 7 times and took it as a cure. It cured the malaria , but I developed an allergy condition to it, called pressure angioedema. I still have the condition after 40 yeas !!! But, I used it because the malaria was going to kill me, so a bout of swelling was something I was willing to live with.

If it is true that it works for the virus, then that is great for most people, and it was cheap. I was in a drug store in Central America buying some and saw a Snickers bar that I wanted......the candy bar was more expensive than the Chloroquine meds.!!!
