Not a bad start. Obvious political bias aside, my original statement regarding population density almost seems like common sense. Not really much of a leap, then, to say that at least some degree of "social isolation" is inherent in the behaviors of many rural and near-rural (myself included) lifestyles. I suppose it might then be considered rational that I, and many other rural people, have no intention of changing our lifestyles that already represent a low risk level. Unless we're all a bunch of filthy, unhygienic, slovenly rubes. Don't really know any of those, myself. Since we are a republic, under which states are entrusted with massive power, how is it that so many mayors and governors let it get so out of hand? And just like terrorism, shutting down largely unrestricted travel from a region experiencing an outbreak of infectious disease will delay the spread. Disagreement may be lodged with Dr. Fauci or Barrack Obama. No "racism" or "xenophobia" required.
