"Does that ring a bell to you?"
No; don't remember seeing it. I don't know much about green chemicals. I think lithium, for storage. Rare earth elements are also needed. I don't know specific companies.

Sorry.

Arguably, one of the most successful ROI green investments made, buying low -- by investors Peter Guber and Joe Lacob:

SUN,
It's admirable what you are looking for as an investment opportunity, however, I think you have narrowed opportunities when you limit to your current criteria. There are numerous small companies working in your areas, but growing them to scale is going to be a long slog--IMO! Even some of the big corporations are looking into this area--XOM for example is looking at alga production being turned into an energy source. Believe it our not--XOM is working on collecting methane from cattle and using it as an energy source.

I would suggest you looking at Hannon Armstrong (HASI)---they have been very successful and have a long history of success with their investments and results Look at the historical growth of their dividends.

Read the letter to shareholders issued yesterday. They have retraced a lot of the recent gains, but they pay a nice dividend that should be covered for future payments.

Good luck!
