Thanks for your kind words. All we can do is TRY to remain civil, forgive each other when we get too excited and offend each other and encourage people of sound mind and conscience to not promote the echo chambers by posting there.

Bob is one of the nicest people I know on SI, has no agenda and I'd be more than happy if ALL the traffic but for the scoundrels move to his COHU board. Subject 3070

Yeah. Kirk is all right. He always has been.

When I first came on SI as a member instead of just an occasional reader, Kirk was the first one to reach out and contact me.

He's pretty good at the market as well, especially when he is within his area of expertise. There he really shines.

And finally, he lets me come on his board and give him trouble from time to time by disagreeing with him. That makes him A-OK, in my book. But I don't mind if he disagrees with me either. That is how ideas are spread in a social society and how smart people learn to make informed decisions after "chewing out the fat".

. It is how our generation thrived in the days of the encouragement of the free speech movement.
