He had a Rhodes Scholarship. But do to other activities he did not faithfully attend classes at Oxford and did not pass the courses.

So can one who gets a Rhodes Scholarship but does not complete the requirements get to be called a Rhodes Scholar forever?


The simple answer to your question is "yes". The more complex answer is: at Oxford you don't really have "courses"; you may choose to take them, but your primary relationship is with your tutor. A Rhodes Scholarship doesn't result in a degree, so why would he have had to take exams?

And when YOU were in college, you never cut class?
