Silver coins are going for a minimum of $21.00 per oz. The published gold and silver “ask” prices are a fiction. If you can find either, the prices far exceed the published prices. Silver at more than 100x gold? I cannot explain it, except that silver might have transmogrified into an industrial not a precious metal. Still, that doesn’t explain the shortages and the price differential. I do not know what to say.
