We've been keeping data from Value Line for quite a while and processed it into a market risk indicator we call the v-Wave. As you can see, the last few weeks have driven it down in risk profile and it's now borderline "bullish."

(Median Value = 44; Bullish threshold = 36; Bearish threshold = 51)

It's rare to see the v-Wave drop this far from its 26 week exponential moving average.

This is yet another confirmation that the AIM method does an efficient job of signaling thrifty buying. AIM's buy signals have corresponded well with the v-Wave's bullish signals. While it may take time for the covid-19 shock to pass, it's comforting to know AIM is deploying precious cash reserves when valuations are the best they've been in several years.
