That is good to know.
I think you were the one who mentioned heating N95 masks to sterilize them. I just tried that (160 deg for 35 mins) on a used one in my oven and it appears none of the non-fabric materials were damaged. The published recommendation was 30-60 minutes at 160 but I wanted to see if any materials were melting at 35 minutes.
My suggestion was to sterilize in natural sunlight if possible.

When I was discussing ideas with my MD friend who was wearing a hand made mask, I suggested spraying with Lysol. Someone else said the Lysol breaks down the chemical protection in surgical masks.

I would check with the MMM website for the N95s as I've read they have a section on how clean them to reuse them.
