Mohan, And those layoffs won't be cheap.. there will be a lot of peopel with a lot of severance moeny coming to them.. now you are starting to see ;-) Steve Cyrix/NSM Rule!

On the local news here in Mass. they say they are laying off DEC workers as I type.

Can somebody clarify how many employees DEC has? Yahoo says 54,000. WBUR in Boston just reported 23,000. Quite a difference. Could there be confusion over local vs. out-of-state or foreign employees?
